— The third printing house dress from The Belmonts is going on sale Monday, June 16, 2019.
The Belmont family has worn a variety of iconic pieces for generations.
However, the latest piece in the Belmont tradition, the Belmonte, has been on sale for the last eight years.
This time around, the family opted to take the plunge and make a one-of-a-kind print at home.
And this time around it was done with the help of a 3D printer.
If you are in the Ventura area on Monday, Friday or Saturday, pick up the BelMonte Prints at the BelMonts print house located at 3200 Ventura Blvd.
“It’s been a lot of work,” said Laura Belmonter, daughter of the famed Belmont clan.
“We wanted something that would stand out, that would be unique and have a special meaning.”
The first print of the BelMONTte was in 2013 and the second print of BelMONTCltte was last year.
In 2018, Laura BelMonter and her brother, Andrew, were nominated for the National Print Awards for their work on the Bel MONTClts new print.
Laura and Andrew have been working hard on the project.
They were also nominated for an Oscar for their documentary, The BelMONTS, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
While they are not going to be making any money from the BelTONES print, the couple will be compensated by the Bel Montes estate.
On the heels of the nomination, the siblings say the BelMENTS print is their way of thanking the people of Ventura for the support they’ve received over the years.
“It just means so much to us that people in Ventura support our family,” Laura said.
“Our family is so special and so strong and so resilient and resilient.”
