How to help a friend with cancer

When you need someone to listen and care, you have to give them a chance to do it for you.

So, when I was in a position to help my friend, she had no idea what I was going through.

We have been friends for years.

We have been together for a while.

We had an affair.

We dated.

We were married.

And for years, I have been helping her get through tough times.

Now, however, I am a cancer survivor.

I am not going to make excuses for what happened, and I am certainly not going back to the old ways.

But I am here to say that this was an important and difficult time for her, too.

And now, I need you to do the same.

Here are the things you can do to help.

First, read about the illness.

Second, seek out support groups.

Third, do your part.

Fourth, talk with your friends and family about your experience.

I’m here to help you.

I’m not here to tell you how to deal with your problems.

I just want you to know that you are loved.

You are a part of this family, and you have the ability to change the world for the better.

Help me spread the word.
